The product



Primark’s target customer is fashion-conscious and wants value for money. Primark can offer value for money by:
sourcing products efficiently
making clothes with simpler designs
using local fabrics and trims
focusing on the most popular sizes
buying in volume
not spending heavily on advertising.

  1. What do you mean by "sourcing products efficiently"?

    Haow can they save money on advertising? Why everybody will be aware of their existance without ordinary advertising camaigns?

  2. Sourcing products efficiently refers to a well planed and organized logistics so the company can save money from that. It is possible thanks to all the expertise and know how gained during the years of existance and partners.
    On the other hand, Primark follows the same strategy in any other it operates of no spending heavily money on advertisment. I highlight "heavily", because of course some will be needed but the company always have succed with the word of mouth, the location of the shops, the bags and the prices which are other ways of comunication, not just advertisment.
